The second painting in the hummingbird paintings. This series is about the beauty of nature and life, the need for stillness and mindfulness, and a break from always being busy. The hummingbird flaps its wings rapidly but also stays in one place, enjoying the sweet nectar of flowers…of life.

Rich bold colours and thick layers and textures are used to create motion and excitement. Various methods of paint application are utilized, ranging from finger painting, paint brushes, pallet knives, and acyclic paint pens.
